Dear Family and Friends,
I feel the same way!! Time has gone by VERY fast!!!! Elvaro did get baptized and it was awesome!!! We had a little mishap with getting the right key to open the curtain to the font, but it was good!!!! This last week was really good, but I'll get to that in a minute!! I will leave Hosford wednesday morning and go to the mission home that evening and then I will fly out on thursday. Elder Ogilvie is going to train, so I will have a great grandson!!!!!!
It sounds like everyone is doing good!!! I'm excited to see y'all!! I was thinking that we eat before I go interview if we have enough time, because it's what? an hour from salt lake, but we will have to see how on time my flight will be, we can decide when I get in!! I sent a package home today, it will probably get the Thursday.
Rachael is in the Relief Society Presidency?!?!?!?!?!? SInce when!?!?!?! I don't get told nothin!
So this week we finished teaching Elvaro and on Saturday he was baptized by his nephew, it was awesome to finish off my mission with a baptism!! Elder Ogilvie gave him the Holy Ghost and he was VERY happy!!!!!! We also got to teach a man about the Restoration, it was tough for the first little bit because he is a former preacher but we committed him to reread the Book of Mormon and to pray about it this time! He accepted, he has a hard time believing in baptism by water, but he believes that baptism by fire is what we are suppose to do. He is very cunning and wise in his language and use of words! Every time he taught us something it was off the wall wrong and the Spirit was missing, but when we taught we taught with the Spirit and it made him quiet down enough for us to teach!! It was awesome to see the Spirit work through me and I hope that that man will come to know the truth!!!! Elder Ogilvie will go back and follow up with him! Yesterday I was asked to bear my testimony at the end of sacrament meeting because I am going home this week, they said if they would've known they would have had me speak, but I'm glad they didn't!!! Well I think that'll do!
This is Elder Cameron Williams signing off for the last time!!!!
I love y'all!!

Elder Cameron Williams

Cameron's Letter Jan 7, 2013

Dear Family and Friends,
Yes 2013 came really fast!! I'm feeling better, I still have a bit of a sore throat but I also have mucous in my throat and so does Elder Ogilvie, but we are feeling up!! Ok... (pray for good conditions please!!)
You could schedule a dentist appointment, I don't think I need an eye appointment, but I will need more contacts, my 2 years aren't up yet I can still get more contacts right?!?
You didn't tell me about the snowman countdown! That's cool!! Sounds like a good New Years Eve, ours was very quiet and uneventful.
I'm excited to come back and watch Emily play basketball!!

This week was slow for me, we were both sick for most of the week (a ton of missionaries are sick right now!), and unfortunately Becky is starting to back up, she doesn't like all the rules and doesn't feel happy while she is living the rules or not (she doesn't feel happy because she hasn't kept our commitments and she thinks she has). So that isn't too great, but Elvaro is still on track for being baptized on the 12th!! He is really excited!! We taught him a lot yesterday and we are finishing getting him ready!! That's really it for this week, I wish I had a busier week but that's ok, Satan is just trying to get me down before I leave, he won't succeed!
I love y'all very much!!!!! See you in a week and a half!
Love,
Elder Cameron Williams

Cameron's Letter Dec 31, 2012

Dear Family and Friends,
Happy New Year!!!!!! I'm glad that y'all survived the end of the world, a bunch of people here survived too!!! Almost like nobody died!! Haha!!!
Our week was alright, it was slow and Elder Ogilvie and I sick, we both have sore throats and are developing sinus problems
It was great to talk to y'all too!!! We spend the rest of the day (after the phone call) eating dinner and watching the Shulers open presents and they got us a gift each, they gave me some black gloves!! It was cool!!! Umm that would probably be good to do some shopping when I come home!! Let's do that, Christmas eve on the 18th! Question, will I be able to drive myself to do shopping??
If you want time to prepare for Christmas when I get home you better start now mum!!
Emily and Laura can download apps?!? Do they have Star Wars angry birds?? Is that a game you can get?? I've seen toy star wars angry birds, but I don't know if they have an app for it??
Wow, Ammon is going to be the only guy there!! Maybe he can get Amanda to snort alot!! Hehehehe!!!!
Dad let's get better together!!!!

There wasn't a whole lot this week, on thursday we had a Zone Training in Panama City and that took up most of that day, and Christmas we didn't do much. We had a lesson with Elvaro last night and it was good!! He is still excited to get baptized!!! Becky won't be getting baptized this week and probably won't get baptized while I am here  But as long as she gets baptized then I'm happy!! That's pretty much it, of Friday we did service for the High Priest Group Leader, we built a huge fire to get rid of the rotting wood! That was fun!!! But that's pretty much it!! These last 2 weeks are going to be great!!! I'm going to do my best and finish strong!!!
Have fun storming the castle!! Hehehe
Have a fun party tonight, take videos please!!!!!
I love y'all!!!!

Dear Family and Friends,
I am doing great!! We had a pretty slow, but great week! Our half mission Christmas party was pretty fun, it was in Tallahassee at the Stake Center, the first 5ish hours were kinda boring but the last 2ish hours were awesome!!!! It was on Dec 13th, and for the first 5ish hours missionaries took turns sharing talents and some missionaries were called on to bear testimony and then we had lunch, we got small portions but that's ok, I don't need a lot of food! And then after lunch we watched Brave and then all the missionaries that are going home this transfer got up and bore testimony to half the mission, so I got to do that too! It was pretty good. Thanks for the Christmas letters!!! I did get the card from the Thompson's! Tell them thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the puppies aren't born yet but they should be born by the time I leave but they have to stay with their mom for a bit so they would be ready by Feb I think. Haha!!! Me plan worked!!!!!! Plus he REALLY does need a playmate!! He has had a boring life!!! I know it will cost money to get it there, I just have to find out how much it is.

Ummmm..... you could send some M&M choco cookies and some cheesecake cookies, but don't send a lot please!! I'll enjoy the rest when I come home!!! Oh I kinda is starting to sink in that I only have a month left!!! It's very weird!! I feel like I've spent my whole life doing this stuff!!!

Haha! In the Bristol Ward yesturday there was a young man who gave his farewell and he is going to the Provo Utah Spanish Speaking Mission. So maybe he will come out to Eagle Mountain!! haha!!!

Well Becky is doing good, she's moving along slowly but she has picked Jan 5th as a day to work towards being baptized!!!! Rhonda is not really doing much right now, I think that since she can't come to church right now that has kinda put her on hold on getting baptized, she wouldn't mind being baptized but she can't get Sundays off until her work redoes the scheduling and there is no telling when that is.
So on Wednesday we have dinner at a Part- Member family's house and he (Elvaro, el-var-o, he is from Argentina I think) has been investigating for 3ish years. She (Hannah) is the member, she keeps trying to get us to join the choir because she is the director and Elder Ogilvie felt that we should make a deal with them, if they read scriptures or pray 5 out of 7 days as a family then we would join the choir. She accepted! And then on Sunday she told us they did it and so we joined the choir. After the practice we went to lunch at her brother's house and Elvaro told us that as he was listening in Sacrament Meeting to a lady sharing her conversion story and seeing his family it all clicked in his head!! He told us that he was waiting on a sign but then the thought came, what more signs do you need and he told us he wants to get baptized!! And he even wants to try and do it before I leave!! And get this, he is a huge Star Wars fan!!!! So I think this will be my Star Wars fan convert!!!!! Thanks Richie!!! So we are going to start reteaching him the lessons about twice a week!! Well I think that will do for this email!!
Merry Christmas!!!! I love y'all!!!!
Love,
Elder Cameron Williams

Cameron's Letter Dec 10, 2012

Dear Family and Friends!!
Yes I want a dog!! I like dogs, just not when they can't control their bladder. Since I have been here and known that this dog was going to have puppies. I will be about the size of a black lab, maybe a little smaller. We can make the dog a mostly outside dog except in the winter, we may have to get a bed for him in the garage or something. He would stay with yall while I'm at school. :) Emily would LOVE that!! And Buddy could have a play mate! (He NEEDS a playmate)
Ok sounds good! I will prepare for the 20th!

Emily it sounds like your getting pretty good at basketball!!! Maybe I'll get to watch some of your games!!!! :) That's good that y'all got the tree up!! Have y'all been counting down the days til Christmas??
Aunt Carol was in the hospital?!? That's not good, but that is good that she is now home!! Yes!!!!! GO BYU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is BYU playing in a bowl game???

My week has been pretty good! Not too much happening, we had a couple of lessons with Becky this week, on Tuesday we watched the Prophet of the Restoration with her and she liked it, she didn't like how people were so mean to the  early Saints! And we then taught the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity and it went pretty well!!! She has committed to start living those commandments a step at a time!! We will continue working with her and hopefully she will get baptized before I leave!!! I would REALLY love that!! But if it doesn't happen when I am here as long as it happens I will be fine!! We had the Ward Christmas party this week and we had alot of fun at it!! There was alot of food!!!! Really good food!!! I think that's about it for this email! I love y'all very much!!!

Dear Family and Friends,
Well today is transfer day and it's official... I will be dying off in Hosford!!!! I'm excited!!! Elder Ogilvie is staying too! That's AWESOME that Rachael got her mission call!!!!  Our Thanksgiving was pretty warm too!! This week flip flopped alot with the weather!!! Some days were chilly and rainy and other days were bright and warm! You are going to have to show me some of those videos when I get back!!
Sounds like a fun week!! Emily don't get down about losing to Lone Peak, mourn for a time and look at what you can learn from it and then get back up, move on, and don't look back!!!
I do have enough Christmas music to listen to! Thank you! I did get to watch the Frist Pres Devo, we watched it at Bishop's house after dinner! It was really good!!

Well before I forget, there is a member here in Hosford that are going to be having half black lab/ half hound puppies around the time that I will be leaving and I wanted to let y'all know that I wanna try and get one! He said he would just give me one or all if I wanted, but I know I can't have all. This wasn't a planned event! But yeah, he will probably have to ship the puppy to me because they might not be ready to leave their mom when I come home!
This week was good! We had to patch up a big misunderstanding between Becky and Rhonda and the members we have trying to fellowship with them. Over a small thing. We were able to smooth it out! Becky has been struggling a bit this week, her ex-fiance took too much money out of an account and left not enough to pay the bills and she is dealing with alot of crap right now!! Satan is trying to work on her really hard because she is progressing towards baptism!! She has also been struggling with reading the Book of Mormon and keep the commitments we ask her to do! This week we are going to try and fix that and help her realize how much doing these small things will help in the long run!! Well that is about it for this week! This upcoming Friday Elder Ogilvie and I will be the narrators at the Primary Program for the Ward Christmas party!! It's exciting!! Well I think that'll do it for this email! I love y'all and I pray for ya everyday!!!
Love,
Elder Cameroon Williams

Dear Family and Friends,
My Thanksgiving was really good!! I did get your package! Thank you!! I got it Wednesday I think! Our Missionary Sacrament meeting was alright, one of the young women spoke, we spoke (the ward mission leader was suppose to speak but he wasn't able to!! So he dumped it on us!)and the bishop spoke. We were the only ones to bring a nonmember (Becky came!!), we expected that to happen (nobody bring a nonmember) but we were hoping to be proved wrong.

Well I'm glad that y'all had a good Thanksgiving!! Did y'all take any pictures?? If you did, you should send some!!!
Our Thanksgiving was pretty good!! On Wednesday we had a lesson with Rhonda and Becky and it was pretty good! Then we went to dinner with the Wahlquist family (HUGE family), they have Thanksgiving the night before Thanksgiving so that they can hunt on Thanksgiving! I ate a TON there!! The food was AMAZING!!!!!!! It was awesome!! And then on Thanksgiving Day we went to another HUGE family (Peddies) Thanksgiving dinner at their camp grounds! It was awesome!!! I had squirrel, dove, ham, and chicken!! Did I mention that it was awesome!!! After we ate a member took us and showed us where he liked to hunt and he showed us a HUGE tree! It was awesome!!! After that we went over to the Lawsons for Thanksgiving dessert type thing! It was pretty fun! We didn't have a whole lot of luck with people being home or them being busy with Thanksgiving! Yesterday as we were biking back into Hosford we saw a live hog!!!!!!! It was awesome! It ran away before I could get a good enough picture!!  We are getting some progress with Becky, after church yesterday she hung out with the members that took her to church and she went with them to an ornament party (a bunch of members go and make ornaments) and she told us that it was awesome!! So we are just about there with Becky!!!
Well that's about it for this email, I love y'all very much and hope y'all have a great week!!
Love,
Elder Cameron Williams
